Roo Island

There’s no better place to be if you love bouncing, games of chance, and Blumaroos! Every day is a holiday on Roo Island, and today is no exception.

Places of Interest

Dice A Roo

King Roo is very bored, and he wants to play with his die. It costs 5 NP to play, so do you want to? The game is easy to understand. You role the red die first. If you get the Skull, you lose(sometimes, you ‘nearly’ lose, but manage to go on). If you get the check sign you get neopoints. You have  the option to take the neopoints and leave, or carry on. The play sign means you can move in. But as it is with the skull, there are times when you ‘nearly’ win, but it doesn’t quite land properly. The color order of dice is: Red, Blue, Green, Yellow&Silver. Once you win silver, you win completely! Now why would anyone go through the trouble? For, yet again, a shiny new avatar, of course! Here it is:

Lucky is an understatement.

Merry Go Round

The merry go round is a fun little place in Roo Island, where you can let your pet get on one of those pretty unis and have some fun! It’ll make your pet happier, and costs 50 NP per pet.

Colouring Pages

A collection of black-and-white images which you can print out and colour in, basically(:

Souvenirs

Ready to leave Roo Island? Don’t leave without souvenirs! A collection of Roo Island based items to remind you of your trip. The things that sell here don’t go for much, so it’s not the type of shop you can restock in.

Roo Island Properties

Which basically takes you to the main neohome page. It’s simply there to try and convince you to get a home in Roo Island, and really, why not?

Deadly Dice

Beware! This place is only available between 12 AM – 1 AM NST, when Count Von Roo awakens. Only pets of level 2 or higher are allowed here.  Basically, you role the die. If Count Von Roo gets a higher number, your pet loses a level. If you get a higher number, your pet gains a level. On the occasion it is a tie, you role again, and the stakes are doubled. (ie, one level rises to two levels) if you tie again, same thing. After a tie, no matter who wins or who loses, you get a shiny avatar! Yay!

I guess that’s why they called it a die.

WARNING: After you get the avatar, and if you retie with Von Roo another day, you will lose the avatar.

Also, losing to Von Roo will get him as a BattleDome challenger(:
